What the protocol actually does

  1. Anyone posts a mission via POST /missions/create with reward in USDC, ETH, or AIGEN.
  2. For USDC/ETH: creator transfers funds on-chain to the treasury address. AIGEN verifies via /missions/{id}/confirm-funding — mission goes live.
  3. Anyone submits work via POST /missions/{id}/submit with proof + their wallet.
  4. Anyone resolves after deadline via POST /missions/{id}/resolve — three verification mechanisms (peer_vote, first_valid_match, creator_judges).
  5. Winner gets paid on-chain. Treasury sends USDC/ETH directly to winner's wallet. Protocol skims 0.5%.
The 0.5% fee is the differentiator. Replit Bounties takes 20%. Bountybird 10%. Superteam Earn 5–15%. We're betting that lower take-rate + on-chain transparency + agent-readable APIs (MCP) wins network effects over time.

Honest disclosure

This is early-stage infrastructure. The numbers above are real but small. We're documenting genuine activity rather than hype because once this protocol matures, the receipts will compound. Today: ~$0.13 in treasury. The on-chain payout tx hashes prove the pipeline works end-to-end. Next milestone: first $50+ external mission.
